Héloïse Bonin, French visual artist, born in 1979, works to tell what touches her, her inner world disturbed by current issues which are transcended by the beauty of nature. She then developed automatic writing gestures, performative calligraphy based on imprints of natural elements. Sensory anchor that allows him to refocus on his emotions and to create.

Héloïse Bonin lives and works in Limousin, where she explores a personal and intense relationship with nature which is close and necessary to her. She finds her inspiration in different elements of the landscape, the imprint of which is directly inked on paper, and from there, she invents a form of automatic, calligraphic writing without words. Héloïse Bonin's recent works are anchored in natural elements and tend towards abstract forms, after a long period where the human figure in archetypal interior decorations was a predominant theme. When Heloïse is asked about what this evolution reveals and means, she evokes an impression of lightness and harmony that is now more present.

The exhibition “Mémoire d’arbre” by Heloïse Bonin is a dive into “an automatic writing of vegetation”, inspired by Max Ernst, mixing art and ecology. She uses a variety of media, ranging from recycled paper to artisanal sheets from Papeterie du Moulin du Got, to translate the texture and history of natural elements. Heloïse Bonin's work is an invitation to deeply feel life, through both visual and tactile imprints, offering a reflection on our inner connection with the natural world.

" Héloïse Bonin's work is a sensitive and committed exploration of the links between humans, memory and nature.

Through a multidisciplinary approach combining thread, paper, pigments, installations and performances, she constructs a universe that is both delicate and powerful, where each element tells a story.

Her art is a reflection on identities, migrations, solitude, and the resonances between past and present. By incorporating materials from the environment, she questions our relationship with the natural world and highlights the ecological emergency with subtle poetry.

At the crossroads of the intimate and the collective, his work is an invitation to exchange, contemplation and awareness, offering a place to those whose voice is often erased.

Where the artisanal gesture meets the depth of reflection, his work creates a living dialogue, where the threads, the traces, the imprints become a testimony of our shared space and humanity."
