Working on different types of paper, ink and natural pigments give rise to a practice of traces, imprints and gestures. Bark, stone and other natural elements become starting points for a spontaneous form of writing, somewhere between drawing and calligraphy.

Gradually, the imprint fades away, giving way to paper, matter, line and gesture. The series Pigment Traces extends this exploration through processes of emergence, erasure and memory.
