A practice of traces, rubbing, erasure, strokes, lines and drawing.

Charcoal, natural pigments, India ink, black stone and white pastel are applied to different types of paper, including bamboo-fibre papers.

Working from plants, bark, leaves and fragments of trees, matter becomes trace. It settles, shifts and fades, allowing forms to emerge between presence and disappearance.

An exploration of the memory held within matter, gesture, and what remains.
