At the edge of the visible.
On raw linen, charcoal, ink and pigments bring forth networks, traces and flows.
These paintings explore what escapes the eye: underground connections, silent flows, presences, and the traces left by living things.
Mycelium and What Remains thus form an invisible landscape, somewhere between emergence, disappearance and memory.
Presentation
The works in the Invisible Landscapes series are created on raw linen canvas.
The canvas is intentionally presented without a stretcher or frame. This deliberate choice allows the material, the edges and the suppleness of the canvas to fully participate in the work and in its presence within the space.
